ooops...I did it again!
So I must have the worst luck with cars in Europe. I was picking up pastries in the morning for our guest. as i was leaving the shop i went around a corner and bumped the curb, didn't think much off it. i stopped at a gas station on the way home and what do yea know, my tire was so flat i was rolling on my rim. I wish i had a picture but i didn't have a camera. so i get directions to a tire shop thats maybe 5 min away. thinking i could make it i started my trek. about 2 min in i feel another bump and look in my rear view and see my tire rolling down the road. i pull over and call the car rental place for a tow truck and it starts to pour rain, i'm talking thunder and lightning the whole nine. the tow truck guy says hes gonna be there in an hour. mean time i'm reading the car manual and see that this car does have a spare. i get out of the car and two dogs with vicious drewl spraing out of there mouths like i'm prime rib starts running towards the tiny berrier that there owner calls a fence. finally the owner gets them inside and i countinue my search for the spare, i find it. after about 20 min i changed the tire and was drenched and made it to the tire shop.

Honey, I'm Home!
I've been in Italy for a few days now and can't be happier. As I type this i get to look at the fog rolling over the Tuscan hills with sheep grazing in the field not 20 meters away. The people the atmosphere...everything is just what home should feel like. The hospitality here is so warm and open whether you are at a bar drinking a coffee or in the open market buying your groceries for the next couple of days. people with lively attitude and crazy hand gestures is just another way to appreciate the atmosphere.

Getting close!
well I leave in less than a week to start my journey and can't wait. I have no idea what to expect. At least I get to chill in Italy for three weeks before flying to Ghana. I'll be on a very tight budget. a little under 6 grand to last the whole year. I've met a couple people on Facebook who are gonna be in Ghana the same time i am and they seem really cool.
